Suppliers, agents and affiliates of Maesa Group are expected to adhere to high ethical standards and fully comply with the law in the course of their work on behalf of Maesa Group. As such, we conduct routine monitoring of contractual obligations set forth with suppliers regarding their code of conduct which includes their refrain from engaging in or condoning the trafficking of human beings used or treated as slaves. We routinely check our list of suppliers against information reported by the U.S. Department of Labor in their List of Goods Produced by Child Labor and Forced Labor guide. We routinely educate and train our supply chain professionals regarding human rights and ethical sourcing practices in order to mitigate risks within the supply chain. We review and amend supplier contract language on a regular basis to ensure they do not use or in any way benefit from forced, compulsory or child labor.
