E-Commerce Manager

Job Description:

Reports to the CEO

Key Responsibilities:


  • Drive sales and traffic to the E-Commerce
  • Establish the promotional plan and product offering strategy
  • Establish annual forecast and budget

Online Email Marketing:

  • Prep and manage all email marketing campaigns including automated and operational emails.
  • Coordinate routing of email campaigns and gain all necessary approvals prior to deployment
  • Works closely with Marketing to insure all copy needs meet deadlines
  • Works with Marketing to develop new email content and marketing programs to increase conversion
  • Provide solid QA and email analysis pre and post deployment
  • Assist in management of growth and maintenance of consumer database
  • Work with email provider to take leverage newest technology to improve communications by identifying key areas of opportunity to message key segments and start new campaigns
  • Act as liaison to Customer Service team, communicating key initiatives, calendar changes, etc.

Affiliate Channel Management:

  • Manages the Affiliate Channel business and relationship to effectively promote the brand
  • Responsible for managing all affiliate partners, promotions and commission structures
  • Provide all copy, assets, approvals and custom offers

Search Marketing:

  • Execute Search Marketing Strategy, Budget Allocation and Assets
  • Manage relationship with 3rd party agency
  • Monitor performance of all search, display, acquisition campaigns

Product Management:

  • Manage the product catalog: input & categorization of all new products, sets, gifts and collateral items
  • Assist in Management of saleable and promotional inventory – including set development, virtual SKU requests and transfers

Site Management:

  • Assists in all aspects of management of the Flower Beauty Web site
  • Manages Site Refreshes. Works closely with freelance designer, front end engineer, and developer
  • Responsible, for managing all database input and Site Offers
  • Responsible for delivery of all required assets to external partners
  • Responds promptly to any site issues via database, web designers and brand producers and escalates as needed


  • Responsible for reports on email and other Marketing Program effectiveness
  • Responsible for creating reports as requested
  • Management of the E-Commerce P&L

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of E-Commerce business with a minimum 4+ years of online E-Commerce experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office programs
  • Demonstrates ownership of projects with good follow-thru skills
  • Works effectively within a small team
